RAAR

RAAR is a music project.
I will be releasing my new single "Halfway Across The Universe" March 27, 2026. It is one of my favorite songs I have ever written. I was laying in bed one night and the lyrics and melody came to me out of no where. The rest of the album also titled Halfway Across The Universe is complete and will be released in April or May 2026. I really wanted to have more organic songs on it with guitars and keyboards. I have 55 songs written - so narrowing it down for an album was quite difficult.
While I was writing and producing the album- it became quite apparent that it has a cinematic feel to it. Each time I work on an album I want it to be something I really like and again I am proud to say I love this record! It has elements of Pop, Rock, Trap, Lo-fi, Hip Hop and EDM. I grew up with those music styles so creatively it is quite natural to write.
As I mentioned before a close friend of mine suggested the name for the music project as RAAR and I loved it. It provides an opportunity to write different styles of music and push yourself as an artist and producer. I always admired Prince and BT in that way. They are musical geniuses.
I started thinking about the second record I wanted to make and out it came.
The first album Time Travelin' is a theme based album I always wanted to create. It has elements of EDM, Pop, Trap, and Hip-Hop Music and with the new album I wanted to evolve.
I was inspired by Depeche Mode and Prince at an early age and have always loved their music. They have incredible songs and their records have a vibe and consistency to them. This album is meant to have a thought provoking effect. I am also obsessed with Time Travel and I thought about How would I convey those emotions musically if that were possible? For example- the idea of excitement of what you could change but the cost and effect it would have if you even could do that. I also thought about the longing for the people you loved and missed. I wrote a lot of songs for the album over the last two years. I wanted each song to also set a visual image as much as possible. I love the energy and the dynamics of the record. I am really proud of that album.
